State Shoot Rumors

Rumors abound regarding the PA State Shoot. Let me put them to rest. The State Shoot is not going to be cancelled and there are no thoughts of cancelling the events on Monday and Tuesday.

However, there will be a shortage of ammunition available to purchase. PSSA is encouraging all shooters to bring a sufficient amount of ammo to cover those events in which they plan to participate. PSSA cannot guarantee that ammo will be available for purchase.

Ammo that will be available will be sold under the same terms as applied at the Keystone Open – present a receipt and purchase shells sufficient for those paid events. Brand and shot size availability may be severely limited.

As you know, this is a nationwide problem. PSSA has been in touch with manufacturers explaining our need and encouraging prompt shipment to vendors. We will hope for the best and plan for any and all contingencies.
